TRUE BEAUTY

                                                                

True beauty is not in how classy your outfit looks, no it is your character. There is a particular quote I love  "you may wear the most beautiful dress and think that you are beautiful, but if you do not have the right attitude, then you are very ugly". I believe in this quote so much and I also use it to judge myself. 

I know of people that I have come in contact with, whose attitudes are nothing to write home about. With this I try to look inwards and ask myself, How is my behavior towards other people? How do I react to issues that I am faced with on a daily basis? Do I blow things out of proportion, or handle them maturely?

For me, what informs my decision to make friends with people is one's attitude. You may be wondering why, this is because it reveals to me the state of your heart, mind, and soul. And if the person's attitude is not right, I will not be friends with such a person. 

True beauty flows from within. It comes from the heart, for even the Bible said that "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh". So dear reader, ask yourself, how is the state of my heart? How do I react to people and happenings around me on a daily basis? How do I treat that come in contact with me? Do I show genuine love, care, and understanding of people? Take time out and think about these questions and then begin to make the necessary changes.
